Planning a wedding can be very stressful, and everyone needs to be organized properly. The first thing to do is to plan well in advance. They may put together a wedding in one week on the TV soaps but it’s not a good idea. Give yourself plenty of time and try to relax. There is a lot to remember, so make a wedding planning checklist and a budget plan. One will work with the other, hopefully in harmony.

Whilst the bride and groom usually decide on the basic thrust of the wedding, it’s usually left to the bride’s parents to work out the details. Firstly, decide on where you want the ceremony to take place. You may want a traditional church wedding or a civic one. Couples get married in all sorts of wacky places these days, in sports stadiums and on roller coasters. Up mountains and on the beach. Draw up a short list of possibles on your wedding planning checklist, and remember that these places are sometimes booked years in advance.

The venue for the reception will also have to be decided early, although you may decide to have it in a private home. If that’s the case, you could hire a marquee or two for the garden. You may want some live music on the day. Try to choose a singer or group that are versatile, then all the guests will be happy. This brings us to the guests, who are a vital component of any wedding planning checklist. Decide on who is to be invited, send out the invitations and organize a seating plan. It’s not as easy as it sounds, seating plans can cause friction for years to come. Do the best you can, you can’t please all of the people all of the time.

Other considerations are the flowers, for the arrangements at the venue and the bridal bouquets. Cars need to be booked to take the various parties to the ceremony. The food for the reception must be decided on, as well as the wedding cake. Exhausted yet? The men need their morning suits, the ladies need their hats and the bride needs her wedding dress, (oh yes, the bridesmaids need their dresses too) It’s a satisfying feeling when you start to tick things off your wedding planning checklist, isn’t it?

We haven’t finished yet! The bride and bridesmaids will want hair appointments at the hair salon and don’t forget to arrange the rehearsal dinner. There are just a few things left now on the wedding planning checklist. Presents for the bridesmaids, buckets of confetti, and table center pieces. The couple need to distribute their gift list. After it’s all over, it won’t just be the bride and groom that need a honeymoon. Of course, you could just hand over the wedding planning checklist to a professional wedding planner. They get paid to stress.

One of the most refreshing new comedy series on TV, The Office catalogues the inner-workings of a fictional Pennsylvania paper company called Dunder-Mifflin. The name itself alludes to some sort of bureaucratic labyrinth administered by dunderheads, and in reality, it is. Unfortunately, what makes The Office so hilarious is the ability of viewers to relate to the onscreen office culture. The branch office of Dunder-Mifflin viewers are privy to is managed by the politically-incorrect, borderline lunatic Michael Scott (Steve Carell). Using twisted logic to set company policy, worn out clichés as a substitute for leadership, and an endless array of corny group activities to lift employee morale, he creates an office atmosphere that makes the career of Dilbert seem desirable in contrast.

Carell, star of the recent box office hit The 40-Year-Old Virgin, shines in the role of the nutty and eccentric office manager, and his talents are well complimented by Rainn Wilson who plays the part of Michael’s butt-kiss, rule-Nazi lackey, Dwight Schrute. Dwight’s over-the-top antics conflict with the rest of the office, particularly co-worker Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) whom Dwight would like to fire. A charming unspoken office crush between Jim and Pam Beesley (Jenna Fischer) makes for an interesting and recurring subplot. Both Jim and Pam epitomize the remainder of the cast of Dunder-Mifflin employees who come across as logical, well-reasoned, and normal individuals. Normal people stuck in a bizarre world where idiots like Michael and Dwight preside over their working hours. Similar in theme to the equally funny feature film Office Space, The Office provides us with a much more excitable Bill Lumbergh lording over an army of Peter Gibbons-like worker bees. For creators Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, who first experienced success with the concept in the UK, it’s a recipe for pure, unadulterated laughter.

The Office (Season 1) DVD features six hilarious episodes including the season premiere in which a camera crew arrives at Dunder-Mifflin in order to film a documentary. Naturally, Michael tries to portray himself as a brilliant steward of office productivity, while office enemies Jim and Dwight engage in a series of desk battles. Viewers also get a glimpse of the regular flirtations between Jim and Pam. Other notable episodes include “Diversity Day” in which Michael engages in a feeble and half-hearted attempt to shed light on office diversity, while alienating most of his employees in the process, and “Health Care” in which Michael, afraid of bearing bad news, delegates his authority to Dwight who creates an utter fiasco of the company health care plan.

Below is a list of episodes included on The Office (Season 1) DVD:

Episode 1 (Pilot) Air Date: 03-24-2005
Episode 2 (Diversity Day) Air Date: 03-29-2005

What in the world are gift card bows? Well, in a word, gift card bows and boxes are pure showmanship.

They are a way to make your gift card more of a real ‘gift’ instead of an impersonal gesture that you just got out of the way. There’s a real stigma associated to gift card presents, and taking the time to invest in a little bow or a box you make it stand out as something special.

Make your gift unique and remembered

One of the primary problems with giving out a gift card at a wedding or an anniversary is that they often have a difficult time standing out or even being noticed among all the other presents in their big shiny colorful boxes. But who said you couldn’t get a shiny box and bow of your own? That’ll show ‘em!

Be thoughtful

Always make sure you read up on and are familiar with every single fee and charge your recipient might encounter when they try to redeem their gift card. Some states have passed laws against this type of thing, but in some places there still exists the chance that they’ll be faced with a dormancy fee or a balance fee when they try to cash it in, and you do not want that to happen.

Make a good impression

For some people a gift card is just a cop-out! They think that they are lazy, unthoughtful gifts. Well, nothing could be further from the truth. And by having your card in a nice box along with a nice bow you can make the whole thing fun and playful and also make it personal and appreciated.

Make it a safe gift as well

Stolen gift cards cannot be replaced. Make sure the person knows that carrying a gift card is exactly like carrying cash. It needs to be protected and kept in the same way! Nowadays, many stores are replacing and redeeming lost or stolen gift cards, but it is still a concern.

Eloans are the same as those applied for at local and commercial bank chains with some interesting differences. These are loans which are applied for through the web pages of the internet. Eloans are actually easiest for the loan agency whether it is an investment group, bank, credit card company, insurance company or even an HMO rather than the customer. Credit checks are perhaps quicker, as well as background investigations and loan equity verifications for the agency to perform.

The time needed for an Eloan application to be approved can be measured in minutes if not seconds. A longer time may be required if there is a large Eloan requiring the securing of personal property or real estate to act as collateral. Before such business is transacted you should perform your own investigation into whom you are doing business. Herein lies the homework since the internet is not a totally truthful place to find out information concerning an investment firm.

The library has bound references dealing with the objective and subjective evaluation of both private and public investment firms. A few of these are Standard and Poor’s and Barron’s . You can also research these reporting sites on the internet as well. You need to check on the stability of the firm and the profits gained from the past eight financial quarters or even longer. Other means of research can be obtained by visiting the web site of the many local banks in your hometown. They offer eloans and other services through the internet. Shop around these and others to get the best deals in interest rates.

Now I mentioned that these were easier for the lending institution than you the customer. The reason being is that they are closely tied to the credit card companies and credit reporting agencies. Having worked in the bowels of the loan sharks I know that there are only four major credit reporting agencies. These have had the past eleven years to convert their databases to merge and work flawlessly through the internet. There is a startling fact well hidden by those of us who have been geeks, there are several supreme echelons of computer excellence. They are from number one to four

An Affiliate Website is a site in which you sell other peoples E-products. You make money on commission.

example: you have created a web page on selling a Build Your Own Website Program. 10 people click on to your website and 1 of them buy the product. The cost of the Program is $40. The person selling the Product then turns around and pays you 50% which equals $20.

So you find a niche that suits you, improve your web site and offer more products. you sell 10 books a day at a commission of $20 a piece and that is $200 a day, $1400 a week, $6000 a month.

At this point you could afford to sit around and watch Young And The Restless all day or Keep moving forward and start Making Money Off Of Goggle Adsense, Take full advantage of Goggle Adwords, Create a Drop Shipping Business or even wholesale and become an E-Bay Power Seller.

How To:

Marketing Communications in the U.S. is no longer a one-size-fits-all proposition. Effective message delivery to all residents of the United States requires that we examine the unique consumer behaviors of the country’s communities of color.

The designation “community of color” may be applied to a wide spectrum of minority and ethnic groups. According to the 2000 U.S. Census, approximately 30 percent of the U.S. population currently belongs to a racial or ethnic minority group. The Census Bureau projects that by the year 2100, non-Hispanic whites will make up only 40 percent of the U.S. population.

Successful multicultural messaging depends on messages and products that are crafted to each individual audience, rather than presented as recycled versions of products designed for mainstream audiences.

Reaching the African American Market.

Although African American consumers are unique, they are not difficult to reach. To understand what affects the consumer behaviors of African Americans, we need to examine the history that frames what it means to be black in America. Unlike groups such as Hispanics and Asians who immigrated to the U.S. in search of a better life, African Americans were brought to this country against their will, and faced tremendous adversity and denial of basic human rights.

Today’s African Americans continue to further establish their place in American culture, prove their worthiness, and empower themselves. Research tells us that they respond positively to messages that show they are important members of society.

Too often, African Americans are thought of as a single market segment. This is erroneous thought. Like other communities of color, African Americans are a diverse population. Clear differences exist by culture, region, social and economic status, as well as age, experience, and education.

Other considerations are:

•Half of African American households are headed by females
•African Americans are likely to live in larger households than whites
•In terms of high school graduation rates, an equal percentage of black students earn diplomas as white students.

There is no guaranteed technique for reaching African Americans, but major differences have been identified between how African Americans and whites respond to messaging:

•African Americans take messages more literally than their white counterparts.
•African Americans tend to like copy and visuals that directly correspond to one another.
•African Americans prefer lifestyles and contextual appeals. They find messages more believable that feature people in real situations. They are less responsive to talking heads or single-spokesperson appeals.
•African Americans tend to prefer message delivery vehicles that represent a variety of cultures, featuring people of various hair types, skin tones and personalities.
•African Americans look for positive images of black life.

Reaching the Hispanic/Latino Market

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Hispanics have surpassed blacks as the nation’s largest minority group (January, 2003). Like African Americans, the Hispanic/Latino market is a diverse group. The largest segments as identified by the Census Bureau are: Mexican Americans, Puerto Ricans, Cubans, those who have immigrated from Central and South America, and a category known as “other Hispanics.”

Hispanics in the U.S. hold both a strong desire to preserve their traditional culture and values, and optimism about their children’s opportunities in America. There are important differences between Hispanics born in the U.S. and those who have immigrated: those born outside the U.S. or in Puerto Rico speak mainly Spanish, follow more news from Latin America, and preserve the traditions of their native country while also adopting U.S. culture. Yet they also say that their own lives are now improved, and feel closer now to the United States than they do to their native country. Succeeding generations of Hispanics — those born in the U.S. — speak English, watch English-language media, and follow U.S. news and events.3

Strategies to reach Hispanic/Latino audiences often miss the mark. Although 46 percent say they speak mostly Spanish or only Spanish in the home (71 percent of those born outside the U.S. speak mostly or entirely Spanish), merely translating English messages into Spanish can result in sending the wrong message or no message at all. In the 1970’s, General Motors tried the Chevy Nova in Mexico, no realizing that “nova” translated into “no go.”

In addition, presumptions can’t be made about attitudes, cultural values, and how much the Hispanic/Latino, or other ethnic group understands about products and services.

Guidelines for reaching Hispanic/Latino audiences include:

•Give detailed information; use demonstrations.
•Stick to literalism and reality; use strong visual images
•Use testimonials.
•Show a colorful, upbeat environment.
•Understand the importance of family.
•Go for neutrality in accent, appearance and lifestyle.
•Use informal Spanish in Spanish-language messaging.
•Stay away from translations or dubbings of English copy. Translations don’t always work. Copy should be adapted.

Reaching the Asian American/Pacific Islander Market

Like Hispanic/Latino Americans, Asian Americans are not a single race of people.

Asian Americans have a strong tie to family and culture; their households are larger than those of other Americans; and there is generally more than one worker in the home. Decisions are often made by both husband and wife, and word of mouth is important to Asian Americans. Eighty-five percent of respondents in a study said a friend’s recommendation was their primary source of consumer information.

Although Asian Americans represent a diverse group, some similarities in reaching them are:

•Asian Americans have strong ties to family and culture.
•Older Asians prefer messaging in their native language.
•Newspapers are a powerful medium for reaching Asian Americans.
•Asian Americans have a strong need to please and impress their families.

Reaching the American Indian/Alaskan Native Market

Native Americans are unique as individuals and in their tribal cultural heritage. Effective message delivery may differ from tribe to tribe and from community to community. Native Americans find meaning and wholeness in spirituality and harmony with nature. The family and the group take precedence over the individual, and they are anxious to be rid of stereotyped images of their culture.

Although they too represent a diverse group, some similarities in reaching the American Indian/Alaskan Native Market are:

•Native Americans place importance on credibility and honesty.
•Use bright and colorful visual images.
•They think storytelling is an important tool to pass on information, so stories/testimonials should be used to make a point.
•Native Americans like to be heard, they like to be given an opportunity to talk about their experiences, problems and suggestions.

Customer relation ship management

CRM is the abbreviation that stands for Customer Relationship Management. CRM has gained lot of importance in recent times because it concerns the way an organization or company deals with its customers as well as their personal information. The scope of CRM goes way beyond providing customer service and encompasses building healthy and long-term relationships. The personal information of customers has become more than just something a company owns.

Customer Relationship Management dictates how a company will handle the address, phone number, email address, fax number, or any personal information including how this information will be stored and analyzed and whether it will be outsourced or sold, or not.

Though customers for the most part are more or less not concerned when handing over their personal information to companies they trust the companies do need that information to study their customer profile as it gives them a better perspective of their target market.

There are many aspects to Customer Relationship Management including collaborative CRM, operational CRM, and analytical CRM. Collaborative CRM is all about direct communication and self service. Operational CRM is about the support and automation of operations that are related to customer services including customer service representatives and sales processes.

Analytical CRM is exactly what it states; it deals with the analysis and study of collected customer data for a variety of purposes. In many cases recruiting software is used in order to handle some of these tasks.

Job management is another important aspect of CRM because the people working in a company need training in order to gather and analyze customer information. This sort of training often takes some time when done for the first time but the benefits of this process far outweigh all the effort and time it takes to properly implement CRM. For most companies there is no need to buy new software as the recruitment software is more than enough but then this depends on what that software is.

The actual technology behind Customer Relationship Management is quite complicated and more than a little difficult for everyone to understand. There are several tools related to CRM like data warehousing, customer interaction software, customer support software, analytic software, automated phone software, and live chat software. These are all the basic elements that go to make three types of Customer Relationship Management though there are many more.

A deeper understanding of CRM is required to get a necessary mind-set to optimize its scope and implications.

John Keigh has a keen interest in the leading edge of CRM and contributes to his site: www.crmRevealed.com http://www.crmRevealed.com Customer Relationship Management

Microsoft Great Plains or recent name Dynamics GP has newly redesigned on Microsoft.Net & Sharepoint platform web interface - Microsoft Dynamics GP Business Portal. At this time BP host such web modules as Requisition Management (former eRequisition), Order Management (former eOrder), HR and Employee Self Service, Electronic Document Delivery (distributing SOP invoices to your customers) and others. We were watching closely earlier versions of Business Portal, in our opinion, version 2.5 was the one to consider conservative implementation, version 3.0 comes together with GP 9.0, now with GP 10.0 Microsoft delivers BP 10.0. in our opinion, which is non-official, former ASP eXXX products, such as eOrder and eRequisition were very solid and reliable and we saw large number of successful implementations. Now it is the time to move to Microsoft Dynamics GP Business Portal platform

• Licensing. At this time BP user license is cheaper than GP user license - it is about $50 per user for small number of users, we think BP is for mid-size and large businesses, however if you are small business and have strong IT team, you can go ahead as well

• .Net platform. This bullet is for clarification - Microsoft Dynamics project comes together with .Net progress. In some cases Microsoft puts technologies into the intra company competition: Microsoft Dexterity vs. C#, former project Green ERP modules unification (on the base of purchased Great Plains, Solomon, Navision, Axapta - later on this trend was kind of deemphasized). Business Portal is based on .Net platform, and as you may be aware, dot net is ASPX, versus former Microsoft ASP concept - this is why eXXX product line had to be rewritten

• From Microsoft Dexterity to BP. In our opinion, Business Portal enables the move from former Great Plains Dexterity programming to Microsoft Visual Studio C# programming, where developer will have complete control over GP objects and business processes workflow. Sometimes we hear counter opinions - something like the following: it is too difficult to detach GP from its Dexterity architecture - so the future might reveal complete GP redesign (where the name might be also dropped to stress generic Microsoft Dynamics ERP). Having said this, we believe that Business Portal trend is for the future and to proof its endurance

You push the power button on your computer and 5 minutes later you’re finally ready to start computing. It seems as though it takes forever and a day for your computer to get going,Why?

Most likely, the main reason your system is dragging the ground is because of all the junk that runs in the background that you don’t see. These are applications you may have installed over time.

Such utilities as scanner drivers, and hard drive monitors can swallow up memory and cpu processes, not to mention adware and spyware creeping into your system. These affect both your computer’s bootup process and performance during normal operations.

Another reason for slow pc bootup and performance may be the simple fact that your computer is aging. Computers running Windows 98 and Windows Me with cpu speeds of 500mhz or less are good candidates for slow operation. These system often have inadequate RAM Memory as well.

OK,so you,re no doubt asking, how can you correct this ever present, nagging problem. If your system was purchase when dinosaurs roamed the earth, consider upgrading by adding more memory,a larger hard drive, and if possible a faster cpu.

You can free up hard drive space by deleting files and applications you don’t use often.Improve performance by not overlooking basic pc maintenance.Running scandisk and Defragment are crucial to pc preformance. And try third party memory management programs.

Running scandisk will find and attempt to correct errors on your hard drive.System Defragment will free up hard drive space by re-arranging files in an orderly manner. This allows the cpu to find files much faster and not have to roam all over the hard drive to load files into memory.

You can get more bang for your buck by purchasing a faster computer however. When adding the costs of components and the increase in speed and performance you will gain, you may come out better to purchase another system.

Windows operating system have a utility named Msconfig that can display programs that bootup and instantly run on your computer. To start Msconfig, select Start,Run,and type msconfig without the quotes,in the Run dialog box.Msconfig does not show all programs running in the background however.

If you have Windows XP as your operating system, try to delete all files in the prefetch directory. Windows XP Professional monitors files that are used when the computer starts and when you start programs.

When Windows XP Professional monitor these files, it prefetches them.Prefetching data is the process whereby data that is expected to be requested is read ahead into the cache. Prefetching boot files and applications decreases the time needed to start Windows XP Professional and start applications.

These files if not deleted will lower system resources and slow pc performance by loading programs that are no longer being used.To delete these files, open C,your system drive, and go to windows/prefetch.Delete all files or at least those more than 3 weeks old and, reboot.

Try to check to see if your computer and the CPU Chip are not overheating. Excessive heat will cause your system to perform much closer.Make sure your computer is well ventilated

A really neat and free utility that does a great job at displaying all programs is Merijins free startup utility which configure programs at www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml.This http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml.This utility is simple to use and should not add more burden to your computer.

Another utility called Process Explorer ,Sysinternals Tutoring at www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/ProcessExplorer.html http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/ProcessExplorer.html can be used and this utility allow you to disable each program.

And when it comes to correcting slow computer performance, you can be your own worst enemy. And just how is this? The word procrastination means to put off today what we can do tomorrow. Such simple tasks as running scandisk and defrag are often put off until a more convenient time.

Don’t let procrastination or anything else get in the way of boosting the performance of your computer. You’ll thank yourself many times over when you see the results. You will also have the knowledge to help others boost their computer’s performance as well. And that can always be a blessing to someone.
